Welcome to the world of wines born in Eastern Washington and raised in Seattle with the taste and feeling of the past. MCM Wine Company is a retro inspired project of winemaker Tim Narby and his wife, Carol Bryant, both raised and nurtured by families who believed in craft wines and foods of the last century. Our wines are sourced from vineyards that care about the environment and strive to grow wine with sustainable practices that produce bountiful crops year after year.
We continue this philosophy in our cellar practices using natural fermentations where possible, particularly in our white and rosé wines. Minimal cellar intervention is the goal because the wines should be raised as they were grown. Our red wines are elevated in oak barrels on the lees with frequent early stirring for a minimum of 22 months followed by 10 months or more of bottle aging. Simplicity is our mission because wines that are handled less retain the delicate flavors we love and appreciate.
Wines made in small lots are as unique as can be. Creating wines that flow with the vintage and show the nuances of the seasons are much more fun for us. We invite you to try our wines and support our artisan mission if our ideas of wines made in a small way appeals to you. We hope they do.
